ABOUT THE PLAN:

This training plan is designed for athletes looking for more focused and structured training that will help them to get to the next level for a 70.3 triathlon.

Athletes coming into this plan should be consistently training 7-9 hours per week. The training plan is 20 weeks, averaging ~10 hours per week, with a low of 7 hours and a peak of 14 hours.

WEEK 1 PREVIEW:

Day 1: Welcome Information & Packet
            Swim: 12x100 (2000) - 0:40:00
            Run: 4m EZ recovery - 0:36:00 

Day 2: Ride: 1 hr Recovery - 1:00:00

Day 3: Swim: 10x25 Kick + 500 (2000) - 0:40:00
            Run: 6m Ae (4m @Z3) - 0:54:00 

Day 4: Ride: 2x15' Z3 - 1:05:00

Day 5: Swim: 3x500 w/pull buoy (2300) - 0:46:00
            Run: 4m EZ recovery - 0:36:00

Day 6: Run: 10m easy endurance - 1:30:00

Day 7: Bike: 2 hr easy endurance - 2:00:00

WEEK TOTALS: Time: 9:47:00
